The University Of Agriculture is one of the oldest and most renowned agricultural institutes of Pakistan. The Insitute was first established in the year 1906 as an agricultural institute. later after the creation of Pakistan, it was the demand of many individuals that country needs a higher eduaction institute for agricultural studies. Finally, in the year 1961, the University of Faisalabad was established by upgrading Punjab Agricultural College and Research Insitute. The Institute currently hosts more than 15000 students from different parts of the country. The main aim of the institute is to facilitate its students at every step and provide quality eduaction to its students and help them to enhance and develop their academic and professional skills. The Insitute offers different Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs and currently has seven faculties named, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Social Sciences and Food Nutrition & Home Sciences.
